What Empowers?

Looking back at my lifewriting, specifically the steps of my journey I have shared via Choose to Stay Well and with a greater appreciation of my mission, I am discovering a truly amazing pattern.

Knowledge empowers.

I was unconsciously tracking the steps of this developing pattern when I endeavoured over a month ago to begin sharing with you the steps that have brought me to where I am today, from education, both formal and informal, to life experiences and lifewriting.  It was in the culmination of some fantastic interactions with EFT practitioner and life development coach Cheryl Laird, my person and personal trainer Erin TeWinkel, T'ai Chi Instructor Nick Mann and my sister Samantha that I began to appreciate the real impact of this pattern that exists in and for all of us.

First, accepting and knowing who, where, when, how and why we are provides you with the vital mental and emotional grounding force we need to move forward with any strength and energy towards goals and dreams.

Second, building an understanding of your body based on solid knowledge of the soft and hard tissues of the body and how they move and stabilize is essential.

Third, create an awareness and appreciation for the digestive system and what foods and supplements are really giving you and doing for you as an individual.

Fourth, engage your brain in your life.  This is the key.  Work daily to evolve your knowledge and acceptance of yourself, tracking your progress towards daily and longer term goals and objectives. Move mindfully, using your bones and muscles and joints wisely and efficiently and evolve and adapt to changes and limitations.  Slow down your foodways, choosing, preparing and consuming foods with a mind to the processes of chewing, digesting and the power that certain food provides.

By engaging your brain in your life and in these tasks specifically you begin to reinforce all of the patterns that your body loves and lives for.  Everything comes down to energy, electricity.  Your brain and your heart are the tools we have to transmit this energy and the more direct and efficient the lines of transfer, the greater our extra capacity to move forward, towards your dreams.

 Choose to live in each moment, thrive in each moment.

Choose to Stay Well.
